job summary

the recruiting coordinator will work closely with a team of recruiters in a fast-paced recruiting organization. the recruiting coordinator is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of the company. the recruiting coordinator will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, can shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. you will play a key role defining the values, culture, and goals for the cell and gene therapy sites!

responsibilities

  • provide administrative support to the recruiting team.
  • serve as primary scheduling contact for candidates and internal clients.
  • negotiate times and schedules to organize candidate interviews.
  • oversee travel details and communications between candidates and travel vendor.
  • communicate interview details to candidate, making certain s/he has all the information necessary (detailed directions, dress code, interview logistics, etc.).
  • build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers, executive assistants and administrative professionals.
  • travel 5% of the time.
  • qualifications

  • at least a high school diploma, ged or equivalent certification; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 2 years of administrative support experience.
  • 1-year experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or staffing, preferred.
  • experience with workday preferred.
  • superior time management, organization and prioritization skills.
  • proven capability to work independently and on a cross-site team.
  • ability to build and maintain relationships with internal clients and hiring managers at all levels.
