Cleaner/housekeeper for holiday cottages near beverley - united kingdom, beverley, east yorkshire
we need a housekeeper to join our team at broadgate farm holiday cottages, duties include cleaning the cottages and preparing for guest arrival. part time flexible role
broadgate farm cottages have seven 5 star holiday cottages so cleaning must be to a high standard, you will be working with other housekeepers. previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. we are based between beverley and walkington.
days vary depending on when guests arrive and leave although advance notice is given of days when work is available. it does include some weekend working - please do not apply if some weekend working is not possible.
our busiest days are friday, sunday and monday but vary week by week and you need to be able to work across school holidays. hours are generally between 10am and 4pm. please note this is not a full time role, initially 4-8 days per month but could increase over time.
experience preferred but not essential and unless you live locally you will need your own transport.

duties include
follow worksheet for cottage changeover
pre disinfect cottage then clear out cottage including, strip bedding and gather all towels and take to onsite laundry, remove waste.
make beds, this may include adjusting zip and link beds if necessary
bathrooms thoroughly cleaned
kitchens thoroughly cleaned including cleaning oven, clean fridge, defrosting freezer. kitchen items to be cleaned or swapped and check to ensure all in place and fit for use
windows, glass partitions and mirrors cleaned with specialist glass cleaner.
dust & polish furniture in all rooms, check for cobwebs and marks on walls
clean cottage floors and walls
check smoke alarms and co2 alarms
clean out woodburner if necessary and restock wood basket
dress cottage for guest arrival with welcome pack, instruction cards, towels, bathroom items, kitchen items etc
final disinfect of high touch areas on exit
