the operations support analyst will understand the network financials and support the operations finance and support manager providing weekly updates on kpis and cost control for the network and administer and recommend changes for various processes to ensure escalation of operational proficiency.

the role will require you to deliver an effective and efficient service to key stakeholders within sortation, transport, and finance team.

the operations support analyst will be required to make data quality improvements by working with key stakeholders to ensure the data is accurate and delivered within certain deadlines.

this operations support analyst role will own kronos application configuration and business impact and be the main contact for support on configuration issues and the link between it if there are further technical issues to be investigated.

performance/financial reporting

supporting with day-to-day dutiesproducing and maintaining weekly detailed report of network transport spenddeveloping transport file to be more automated and accurateprovide data collation, interpretation, and recommendations for various reports which are required on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis measuring performance against targeted kpi's and sla's.analyse existing data sources to understand the information and ensure data qualitysupporting and liaising with the business analyst in order to offer supportdevelop knowledge in terms of modelling and analysis by working closely to business analystscreating processes to ensure that depots captured data correctly to allow accurate methods of reportingdesign and develop ad hoc reports via business objects and manipulate data within excel spreadsheets ensuring that weekly cost and hours are reported accurately ensuring all data and information is kept confidential (data protection/gdpr)kronos attendance management

business owner and application administrator of kronoscompleting data accuracy audits on the systemtraining depot teams on kronos when neededsupporting it with installations of kronos hardwareensuring the depot teams are up to date with starters and leavers in the systems and are in control of their data in kronosmaintaining configurations of workforce timekeeper application for business requirementsmanage user access and security profilesmanage system upgrades, testing, implementation planning and new feature trainingprovide kronos system data analysis through system tools and geniesmain contact for kronos application support teamadvise business of system configuration for improvementsprovides immediate assistance when application issues prevent timely completion of payroll or cause other interruptionssupport payroll and hr with pay queries and kronos interfacesdepot cost control management

ensuring you capture operations cost for each depot is done correctly and costed to the correct gl codesmonthly reconciliation of reportssupport the p2p admin team in terms of development and new processesmonitoring transport spend by raising transport network pos within correct gl codes to action any invoice/payment queries to allow accounts payable to process with in srmtraining and development of depot teams

developing and implementing new processes and systems for efficient hr and finance managementwork closely with operations support lead to ensure that all depots work in a standardised and professional way.support depot teams on escalations regarding pay and policies, providing support with any excel tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of processes.provide support and training to transport managers and transport admin on any new financial reporting processes and improvements.together with the operations finance and support manager, the role will have regular meetings with the depot coordinators to ensure continuous improvements.
