the pharmacy tech, under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist working within a licensed pharmacy, performs the technical, nonjudgmental aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping and inventory entry and picking, replenishing product for sorting and filling, mixes pharmaceutical preparations, run automated sorting and counting equipment, fills bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules, applies labels to bottles, and verification.
assists pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
receives and stores incoming supplies. c
ounts stock and enters data in compute to maintain inventory records.
cleans equipment, completes forms as directed.
assists in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory.
