banqueting chef with experience of african or caribbean food
we are looking for a banqueting chef to support our growing operations and maintain our reputation for immaculate service, attention to detail and a passion for fine food.
this is a full time (40 hrs per week) role based at our kitchen in hendon. from time to time you will be expected to work at venues in and around london. you will work 4 days across the week and weekend. we are looking for an immediate start subject to a successful probation period.
candidates must have:
a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a banqueting sous chef experience preparing african and caribbean food level 2 food and hygiene certificate
main duties and responsibilities. you will be responsible for food preparation at events in and around london. you will oversee food preparation and ensuring quality and consistency at all times.
directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
maintaining all kitchen records, temperature records, cleaning schedules and health and safety documentation in accordance with food safety standards. monitoring and controlling stock levels carry out food safety audits create menus and develop recipes
