adecco is hiring immediately for a material handler at our client site in marietta, pa. these opportunities will allow you to enhance your career while gaining valuable experience. we are also offering remote on-boarding options and we have partnered with a local client to ensure safety protocols are in place to protect you while on the job. it is $23.10/hr for 2nd shift (monday – friday: 2pm – 10:30pm)
primary responsibilities for material handler:
responsible for carrying out daily warehousing functions, including truck load and unload of gmp and non-gmp materials, stock put away of received materials, sampling of incoming receipts, waste collection and inter-site transports.
• perform all job responsibilities in compliance with the gsk safety procedures and all applicable ehs regulations and standard operating procedures.
• certification on all material handling equipment
• functionally support the site shipping/receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks containing product and/or materials.
• accurately receive, inspect, & sample deliveries on a timely basis. responsible for the physical and systematic put away of ip materials.
• responsible for pick and put away of materials and for delivery producer warehouses.
• responsible for cycle count activities.
• perform other tasks as required by supervisor/manager.
requirements for this position:
• basic reading, writing and mathematical skills
• visual inspection and attention to detail
• strong attention to detail and ability to create and follow detailed documentation.
• ability to follow both written and verbal instruction.
