responsibilities for this assembly mechanic job includes, but are not limited to:

assemble conveyors and related equipment per shop drawings

assemble conveyors and related equipment per shop drawings

bolt together equipment and components

measure and modify metal and plastic components as needed

disassemble conveyor in appropriate sections for shipping

capture splicing hardware for shipping with sections as appropriate

assemble skids using nail gun and lag bolts

place equipment on and secure to skids

finalize and complete skids for shipping after all equipment is installed on skids

qualifications:

general mechanical ability

ability to read tape line/measure properly

ability to read shop drawings

ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

ability to stand most of day, plus movements such as walk, bend, stoop, squat push, pull, reach, climb, grasp, fine manipulation, and others typical of mechanical equipment assembly

ability to follow instructions

must provide own basic tool set

 

pay for this position is $14 - $15 per hour.
monday-friday, 8 hour days that start at either 4:45am or 5:45am.
