sleeping night shifts available 9pm – 7am (sleeping night from 12pm to 7am)

rate of pay £107 per night

this is an interesting position supporting spouses both with cerebral palsy. they know how they want to live their lives and what they need you to do to enable that.

it requires an ability to facilitate support by listening to and following their instructions.

working as a team, respecting, understanding and enabling independence.

they are intelligent, good fun and fiercely independent and have co-authored a book.

you can expect a friendly welcome and lots of reasons to laugh during your shift.

the successful candidate:

physically fit
reliable and punctual
have good communication and clear spoken english as communication aids are used
able to listen and take direction
able to follow specific instructions with an eye for detail
understand and facilitate independence
be respectful of privacy
enjoy hard work
a driver with full uk driving licence
upbeat with good sense of humour
committed, dedicated and understands the importance of good quality care
patient and conscientious

tasks include:

hoisting
bathing
toileting
household tasks
full support with daily living
paid on call rota
