Part time live-out housekeeper required for young family in sevenoaks, kent. - united kingdom, sevenoaks, kent
a lovely, clean and tidy same-sex family with two children (5 & 4) based in dunton green, sevenoaks (kent) is looking for a professional, hardworking and reliable part-time live-out experienced housekeeper to take charge of the overall running & maintenance of their household. we’re looking for someone to take charge and initiative of creating an organized, welcoming and homely environment to enable us to spend more time with our children. we have a small but very friendly french bulldog.
duties would include:
general housekeeping duties
cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms
doing the laundry, ironing, and organizing the clothes
dusting, hoovering the carpets and mopping floors
cleaning inside of windows
ensuring all rooms are generally clean & tidy
general sorting and organizing
cleaning up after meals
changing bedsheets once a week
on occasion, preparing simple healthy meals for the family (such as lunch boxes and healthy evening meals for the children, salad lunches for the adults and very occasionally preparing in advance a simple dinner)
on occasion, watering the plants. occasional light maintenance of low maintenance garden.
not essential, but on request, a light walk of our small family dog (french bulldog).
not essential, but on request, running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies (food, cleaning supplies etc), taking and picking up dog from local dog groomers.
helping with general child related tasks (such as preparing school/nursery clothes for the week, lunch boxes and possibly helping with getting the children ready for school/nursery). childcare won’t be necessary.
on-going potential for overtime, particularly related to childcare/babysitting outside of regular hours. potential help with day trips, events etc. please state your interest upon application.
location: dunton green, sevenoaks, london
start date: september 2022
days/hours: 3 hours per day, 3 mornings per week (ideally monday, wednesday, thursday but we can accommodate some flexibility with the days, times, hours upon agreement. please state your requirements regarding flexibility). opportunity for extra hours/overtime.
pay: negotiable
