we have an exciting opportunity for a customer service advisor to join our team based in our wells mews office.

ted’s grooming room is an exciting stream of business under the umbrella of ted baker. as this is an expanding venture with 19 current stores across london and more on the way; we are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic customer service advisor to provide our customers with a helpful, professional and efficient service in line with the company’s values, mission and operational plan.

the ideal candidate must display a strong sense of initiative and independence; have strong communication skills, both written and spoken; must possess good organisational skills and able to work in a team-based environment that is fast-paced and challenging. must be accurate and pay attention to details. have good time management skills with the ability to prioritise and triage obligations.

key responsibilities will include but are not restricted to:

liaise with the management team regarding ideas to change resources and/or processes that could help improve customer service levels and/or drive commercial benefit.
be the focal point for all contact from customers.
receive and action communications from customers and other departments.
ensure that all customer orders, queries, complaints etc. are processed as quickly and efficiently as possible; the target being on the day of receipt.
work independently and seek guidance from manager, supervisor and other departments when necessary.
effectively manage stock levels and alert the line manager and office manager to any potential non-recoverable stock write off costs.

you must have the following skills:

professional customer service skills,
excellent communicator - written and verbal - at all times.
well organised, attention to detail, ability to prioritise, remain calm under pressure.
friendly, approachable and flexible - a team player.
able to work independently seeking guidance where appropriate.
proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates "can do" attitude.
smart appearance and confident.
literate and numerate to gcse grade c or equivalent.
computer literate - ms outlook, excel, word or equivalent.
previous customer service and telephone skills desirable.
