we are a family-owned coffee shop,with team of 10-12 people, looking to potentially grow our business and operations.

as we want to grow, we are trying to increasing our menu, adding more lunch and dinner options, we are looking someone who is experienced in opening and setting up a new cafe/restaurant and designing and developing appropriate food menu to meet client needs and overlooking the whole operation of setting up.

there is possibility to grow to general manager to overlook the whole coffee shop, as we are small but busy and a very unique shop, with lots of potencial and plans for future.

you will work close with the owner, on developing the cafe menu, deciding on the range of new products and new ways of improving the service, procedure, and atmosphere.

you can be experienced manager, or experienced assistant to be transited to manager.

key responsibilities:

have full knowledge of the food and drink
to lead the standard of coffee quality, customer service and presentation in the shop and provide constant management in all areas
provide a fast, friendly, and efficient level of customer service
prepare the shop for service
opening/closing the shop
prepare all food and beverage items prior to the shift
manage workflow when is busy
replenish fridges, dry goods, and coffee machines as needed
clear and clean tables
maintain a tidy and enjoyable environment at all times
quality control of food and drinks
take charge of cleaning all cutlery, crockery and other work material throughout the shift
greet and serve guests in a personalized, polite and friendly manner
take orders, serve customers and process card and cash payments with care
prepare and serve all food & beverage items on the menu in an accurate and efficient way (sandwiches, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, bubble tea, coffee....)
stock ordering, arranging and restocking
ensure that espresso shots and milk are prepared to a consistently high standard.
develop an efficient cleaning schedule to ensure the regular and systematic cleaning of the coffee machine and equipment in the shop, ensuring that hygiene and food safety standards are followed
management of staff including recruitment and training/development
plan and implement an efficient work schedule for the coffee shops in order to ensure the shop works smoothly and to max productivity
