adecco is hiring immediately for process technicians with the leader in materials engineering solutions and manufacturing in santa clara, ca. as a process technician, you will perform essential duties with pay starting at $30.00/hour, plus available overtime.
key responsibilities:
prepares wafers for experimentation to include cleaning.
loads wafers, prepares reactor for experimentation, and cleans reactors.
operates reactor to perform thin film process.
monitor performance of process system and perform minimum troubleshooting.
prepare cross section samples for scanning electron microscope (sem) analysis and help/guide requestor to optimize sample prep procedure and conditions, identify cutting location based on pattern instructions.
interface with requestors, understand their detail requirement, and communicate on results; help lab on monitoring wafer in process (wip) and maintaining throughput.
coordinates with engineering on wafer evaluations.
requirements:
bachelor’s degree in materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering/mechatronics, or a technical diploma.
minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in process technology.
experience in manufacturing similar to amat and/or sap.
demonstrated ability to perform experiments, summarize results, plotting and data analysis.
understand hardware – process correlations.
ability to identify and troubleshoot basic hardware faults.
hands on experience in materials characterization (including use of microscopy, x-ray and other surface analysis techniques).
clear written and verbal communication skills.
excellent presentation skills
work with minimal supervision and having independent decision-making capability.
team player who considers the big picture, team objectives ahead of his/her personal goals.
semiconductor manufacturing process knowledge is a plus.
demonstrated capability to build and service equipment is a plus.
advanced knowledge of design of experiments is a plus.
use of minitab, jmp, tableau or similar data analysis, plotting tools is a plus.
