Chef required for bakery - united kingdom, portslade, east sussex
the flour pot bakery is based in hove and we are looking for someone to work in our main bakery.
this is a full time position, and you will start at 6 am and finished around 2pm. the work will include assisting the chefs preparing and cooking our savoury range that goes out to our shops. some of the jobs also involve making sausage rolls, sandwiches, sandwich fillings and various other products. you will also help our team making our sandwiches fresh daily.
this would suit a commis or a junior chef looking forward to progressing in their career and enjoying a better work/life balance than the majority of catering jobs
this is a great opportunity to work in an artisan kitchen, and we would expect you to have bags of enthusiasm and energy. early starts and weekends are part of the job, and you must have your own transport or get here on your own steam.
pay depends on experience, but full training given.
