our client, a mature couple, are seeking a quiet, caring, energetic and organised housekeeper who takes initiative and is happy to work across 3 family properties. in return for your flexibility, reliability and commitment, a full time salary will be offered for part time hours.
the main residence is in a beautiful small village near stow-on-the-wold (5 kms from chipping norton and 5 kms from stow-on-the-wold), and comprises 4 bedrooms across a large 3 story modern style property, with a small garden office. therefore you will need to be energetic. you possess a real eye for detail, presentation and organisation, and are efficient and fast working with meticulous cleaning standards, and utmost discretion.
duties include housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and wardrobe, flower arranging, stock control and shopping, general errands, managing household contractors and repairs, sweeping entrance outside, watering and care for indoor plants etc. when the principals are away for longer stints various projects to be done – i.e. deep cleans, etc.
the second property is a modern light flat in central oxford, which requires cleaning every 2-3 weeks. current tenant is son.
the third property is a 2 bedroom luxurious very modern holiday apartment on a top floor (with elevator) in lymington – a 2-hour drive from cotswolds – which requires cleaning every 6 weeks and checking outdoor balcony plants.
you will be reimbursed your petrol monies for travel to the above 2 properties, therefore a clean driving licence and car is a must.
this would suit a housekeeper with private household and/or 5* hotel experience, who can offer full flexibility to their working week, be punctual with good timekeeping. must present with recent and checkable references, along with a current dbs (this can be organised by the agency).
package: 5 days per week – core hours 9am – 1pm, with full flexibility. salary £25 - £30,000 gross pa doe, plus statutory entitlements, and petrol reimbursement.
