internal recruitment advisor to support the creation of a new care organisation in dorset. 3-4 months interim

we are seeking an experienced recruitment advisor / internal recruiter to support a public sector / care organisation in dorset. this role will be an interim assignment to support the creation and development of the organisation which will go live at the end of october 2022.

the role of the internal recruiter is to work alongside managers and leaders to generate candidates for vacancies across the organisation, ensuring that new organisation has a positive and well respected brand identity. key accountabilities and responsibilities

1 oversee the recruitment needs for a portfolio of services/locations, leading on specific 'hot spot' areas identified as needing improvement

2 provide advice and guidance on constructing recruitment advisement, identifying best methods of recruiting, manipulating social media and lead on creative recruitment and assessment methods

3 optimise attraction and employer brand, focusing on direct sourcing, building effective pipelines

4 work closing with the hr business partner, develop a resourcing and talent plan for the portfolio that supports succession planning and internal mobility

5 proactively develop relationships with key recruiting partners including colleges, universities and other third party organisations which have an available source of direct resourcing methods

6 develop and manage effective relationships with preferred supplier agencies to ensure they comply with contractual agreements and support the organisation in the supply of agency workers when have been unable to source appropriate direct candidates

qualifications and experience

1 previous experience of working within a hr, internal recruitment or agency recruitment consultant position

2 solid experience of a variety of direct recruiting methods

3 proven track record of executing volume recruitment while managing more specific briefs

4 experience of development relationship with key stakeholders, building confidence and credibility

skills and knowledge

1 able to communicate effectively at all levels

2 able to multi-task and prioritise appropriately

3 high proficiency with microsoft office products

4 knowledge of care assessment and recruitment tools

5 knowledge of best proactive recruitment techniques

6 knowledge of using social media for recruitment purposes

the role is offered on an interim basis via hays until the end of october in the initial basis..

the majority of the work can be done remotely but some activities may require a presence in dorset, as and when required.
