sales support/admin job description
this position will be located within the office and will be responsible for overall marketing and sales support.  has a large marketing concentration on mailers and this individual would be responsible for printing, assembling and sending out mailers on a weekly basis. this individual should be able to work independently when required, be responsible and dependable and have the desire to work closely with sales and customer service. this hybrid hire position will be required to come into the office three days per week, with the ability to work remotely two days per week. in office days to be agreed on upon hire for consistency, standard working hours are 8-5 monday through friday.
job description:
• gain and maintain a thorough knowledge of  products in support of customers and sales
• ability to work in a sales and marketing team environment to promote increases in sales at both an individual level but also at a team and national level
o call and follow up on all leads and update salesforce with any updates from those efforts
o drive all lead generating mailings for sales team
• a hard-working self-starter that can work independently.
• builds outstanding long-standing trusted customer relationships.
• source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• understand customer needs and requirements
• route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales managers for further development and closure.
• assist with updating reports
• research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• identify and pursue special projects in marketing that can increase sales
• marketing support
o mailings –research and data entry
o wristband and sell sheet printing
o collating
o samples and brochure packaging and mailings
o customer follow up
• trade show support
o booking booths and ancillary items prior to the show
o assist in coordinating materials and shipments to show
o lead follow up post show
qualifications:
• education – high school diploma or better required
• office computer skills with an emphasis on written communication, proper letter writing, proper email writing is essential
• must possess strong attention to detail
• experience with microsoft word and excel a must
• excellent verbal, written and phone skills a must
• desire to grow and progress through the organization a plus
• strong phone presence and experience when needed
• proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
• experience working with salesforce.com or similar crm
• strong listening and presentation skills
• ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
compensation:
• competitive hourly rate
• full time - temporary to permanent position
