adecco is currently assisting a local client in recruiting for an hr generalist job in el paso, tx. this position is a permanent position with our customer..

position responsibilities:

works closely with management and employees to develop, implement, evaluate, improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention;

ensure policies, procedures and reporting are up to date and in compliance;

regularly attend training/seminars/workshops to maintain and expand knowledge of hr related topics;

responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs;

new employee onboarding through human resources software;

creation and organization of new employee records, both digital and physical;

data entry and maintenance of human resources databases;

perform periodic audits of employee files for accuracy and completeness;

resolve complex employee relations issues and address employee grievances;

assist in the reinforcement of the company’s core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication and coaching;

perform customer service functions by answering general employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, vacations, etc;

assist with recruitment efforts as needed;

conducts training when requested;

investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier;

process weekly payroll through appropriate software;

review payroll batch for accuracy before final submission;

must adhere to hipaa regulations, company confidentiality and code of conduct;

other duties as assigned
