the client

my client is one the uk's leading providers of planned and responsive maintenance services in the social housing sector, maintaining more than 500,000 properties nationwide. due to managing an increased number of properties, they are looking to recruit plumbers covering the barnsley region.

the role

you will be working on the reactive maintenance stream carrying out day to day maintenance & repairs. you will be required to enter domestic properties and respond to day to day repairs that are called in by the tenants. you will receive your bookings via a hand-held pda.

duties:

all aspects of plumbing works

entering tenanted properties and fault finding

moving from property to property completing any repairs and maintenance

customer care to tenants

tickets, qualifications & experience required:

current valid cscs card

must have a minimum level 2 qualification in plumbing

asbestos awareness (although this is not essential as we can arrange for you to do this online prior to starting on site)

previous experience of working on social housing maintenance projects

working reference

eligibility to work in the uk.
