an excellent opportunity for an experienced hgv mechanic to join a well-established company based in skipton.
the company:
originally founded in 1928 and has a long standing and trusted reputation in the haulage industry and specialises in hauling aggregates and livestock transportation as well as acting as a merchant for the sale of quarry products.
customers include hansons, tarmac and aggregate industries all of which are quarry operators who rely on their expertise and experience in the industry.
about the role:
servicing, repairs, mot prep and diagnostic work on a fleet of rigid and articulated vehicles.
candidate requirements:
experienced and qualified hgv mechanic. able to demonstrate initiative and work unsupervised. knowledge of vosa inspections and mot standards. hgv mechanic / technician (city and guilds/ nvq level3).
this is a full-time day working position and in return the company is offering competitive salary up to £51,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
