acoustic consultant

this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to step into a new role at a growing company.

we are looking for a qualified acoustic consultant, preferably with at least two years’ experience. the role will primarily be to complete noise surveys, assessments and reports, and eventually to train new staff as this side of the company continues to grow

company

the company has vast experience in air tightness testing, sound insulation testing and ventilation testing, sap calculations and epcs, as well as having added noise surveys to the roster of services 18 months ago.

role

noise assessments/surveys set up and retrieval of equipment report writing creating as well as maintaining relationships with trusted clients helping to manage projects from start to completion with the in-house team optional part e testing potential to train new staff in the future option to train as a sap assessor

candidate

we are seeking an experienced acoustic consultant who has the ability to work via their own initiative, whilst maintaining a team orientated attitude. you must be degree qualified in acoustics or a similar discipline, and also be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

we are looking for a minimum of two years’ experience.

the acoustic consultant must be familiar with bs4142 and bs8223 and be able to produce reports to comply with these standards.

knowledge of bb93, breeam, vibration monitoring, noise at work and approved document e will also all be useful.

candidate must hold a full clean driving licence.

all applicants must be able to get to and from our offices in hertfordshire

role: acoustic consultant

salary: £27000-£36000 per annum, depending on experience.

working hours: 9am-5pm monday-friday
