responsibilities for these electronic / mechanical assembler jobs includes, but are not limited to:
determine wire length, high density wire wrapping, component placement, point to point wiring, cutting cables, pin, crimp, plug or solder as needed.
work is performed from manufacturing diagrams, process prints, engineering drawings, sketches, specifications or verbal instructions dependent upon unit or sub-unit to meet customer options or modifications.
may be required to work with and handle units of medium to heavy weight
review incoming pick lists and materials to ascertain shortages. report and/or record shortages.
responsible for maintaining monthly schedule of assigned products and identify obstacles to supervisor/manager.
use own discretion in determining best method to assemble unit or sub-unit.
may instruct lower classified operators and perform other related duties as assigned.
must be familiar with company hazardous waste disposal procedures and emergency contingency plan.
qualifications:
at least 6 months of prior manufacturing experience either assembling electrical or mechanical parts.
able to work a full shift standing.
able to lift up to 50 lbs.
schedule: full-time – 6:00am – 4:30pm, monday to friday and occasionally working saturdays as well.
pay ranges $18.00 - $20.00 depending on experience
