Health, safety and wellbeing officer - united kingdom, wellingborough, northamptonshire

what your linkedin will now say: health, safety and wellbeing officer.

as our health, safety and wellbeing officer you're the connection that brings the whole team together. after a short settling-in and training period you're going to be pivotal to our future plans. we're enhancing our current policies and procedures and we want you to guide and deploy them throughout our company.

you'll be working alongside another health, safety, and wellbeing officer to deliver our ambitious plans. the job is varied and it's going to keep your brain busy. you're not going to be sitting in a back-office writing risk assessment after risk assessment and waiting for 5pm to come along. if that's what you're after, then carry on searching.

at times it might be challenging, but you will feel rewarded at the end of a project when everything comes together.

you're going to review our paperwork and make sure everyone's safe whilst we're at work. we're not all perfect, but with your help we'll be pretty close.you're going to come up with initiatives to improve the workplace for everyone. those clichés of "thinking outside of the box" and "blue sky thinking" definitely apply here (no matter how much we hate saying them).we've been developing our safety management system for a while and you're going to be there when it goes live. bring the cake and balloons (but no candles without a fire risk assessment first please).you'll help to write and deliver training plans for everyone's health and wellbeing.hang up the clipboard, you're now going to get very friendly with a tablet. we've got an audit app with different types of audits that all need conducting and refining.with 200+ in the team there's a lot of us to look after when it comes to our safety and wellbeing. some days you'll hit your 10k step count by lunchtime speaking to people, but don't worry our safety shoes are really, really comfy.we know we said you weren't going to sit in a back office doing risk assessment after risk assessment; but let's be honest here, sometimes they just need doing. take satisfaction in knowing the world's a better place because of your hard work.we always want to know how we're improving, and we'll need you to make beautiful graphs and charts so we know we're on track. cat gifs optional.we would welcome applications for this health, safety and wellbeing officer position from candidates with the following skills and attributes: health, safety, wellbeing, construction, risk assessment, modular, park home, nebosh, leadership, health & safety, document control, it literate, communication, level 5, first aid, mental health.
