staff accountant needed for amsterdam, ny, organization. immediate opening - $23-25 hr. hybrid-remote!

position responsibilities for the staff accountant will include:

financial and cost reporting

general accounting (journal entries/reconciliations)

produce financial statement and variance analysis and review

develop and distribute budgets and financial forecasts

perform audit preparation as assigned

special projects

staff accountant skills and experience needed:

bachelors degree in accounting or business related field – required

2 years experience

must be highly proficient in ms word and ms excel

strong organization and problem solving skills

good written and verbal communication skills

detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable

non-profit exp preferred

temp-to-hire position for the right candidate.  immediate opening

hours – 8:30am – 4:30pm – 37.50 hr work week

hybrid remote – must be available to work in-office at least 2 days per week – amsterdam, ny location

pay rate - $23- 25 hr
