this role is due to commence on the 5th of september 2022 . with this being a full-time, long-term position, you will be expected to work monday - friday (approx. 8.30am - 3pm). rate of pay is always discussed andconfirmed during registration and is dependent on experience, ability and skillset, however will range between gbp70 - gbp80 per day.

the ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

you hold a valid dbs that is registered with the update service, if not you must be willing to apply for one

you possess a degree (desirable, but not essential)

you have excellent communication skills and can quickly form rapports

you can use your initiative

you have previous experience working with children between the ages of 11 - 16

you are confident in dealing with discipline issues in the correct way

specific responsibilities include:

ensuring a constructive working environment

ensuring pupils complete all set work

recording attendance in accordance with school policy

following the school behavioural policy

following all school safeguarding policies and procedures
