temporary position for up to 12 months
we have an opportunity for a senior field workforce planner to join our gas planning team, based in chester. the team has 25 team members in total covering 8 regions. this role involves managing gas planners who schedule the gas works for the regions in which the operatives work.
the role of senior field workforce planner will include:
support the operational teams to ensure the efficient scheduling of gas works
handling escalations and managing / developing a team to achieve objectives
monitoring workloads through utilising multiple systems to deliver an effective service to customers and other stakeholders
liaising with key departments to ensure smooth running of operations
skills and experiences:
previous experience of working in a fast paced environment
experience of managing a team and scheduling works would be beneficial
proficient user of microsoft packages including word, excel, outlook and teams
experience in sap or drs (opti-time) would be an advantage
