our client, an independent school in maidenhead, is currently recruiting for a catering assistant to join the team as soon as possible.

£10 per hour, 12 – 15 hours per week

about the role:

as a catering assistant the main purpose of the job will be to assist the cook/supervisor in the general service, preparation and clearing of food and beverages to pupils, staff and guests of the school. ensuring that the hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained in all areas to the standard and quality required by the school, meeting the relevant health and safety criteria in accordance with regulations.

the ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be skilled in catering practices.

applicants with an up-to-date food hygiene certificate and/or an appropriate qualification in catering will have a distinct advantage.

monday to friday, 11:30am to 2:30pm, term time only
