the fire service in nottinghamshire are seeking a specialist home safety operative to join the team on a part time basis.

18.5 hours (job share)

based at mansfield fire station, ng19 6ab

working throughout nottinghamshire, you will be a key player in supporting the organisation and residents of the county by conducting safe & well visits, fitting specialist safety equipment and providing safety advice.

this is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be an ambassador for the fire & rescue service throughout nottinghamshire while performing their duties.

the successful candidate will have experience of working and communicating with the public, along with experience of using tools and fitting equipment and an understanding of home safety issues. the post holder will be expected to hold a valid driving licence and will be subject to a disclosure and barring check service.
