private self-employed live-in female carer required for an ongoing placement. it will be caring for my sweet mother who is a kind and thoughtful soul. she suffers with progressive supra nuclear palsy (psp), which is a rare neurological condition.
to apply you must be a very experienced carer, preferably with some parkinsons or motor neurone disease experience or similar.
have a gentle and patient personality, be willing, conscientious and have a level of self-awareness.
duties to include personal care, cooking, cleaning, companionship and assistance with activities.
you will have a high standard of hygiene and enjoy cooking nutritious food (mostly vegetarian).
clear spoken english is important due to hearing and cognitive impairments.
a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
must be comfortable with family member also living at the property.
