adecco is hiring immediately for a warehouse clerk with one of our premier clients in a state-of-the-art facility in santa fe springs, california. the warehouse clerk performs various warehouse and warehouse management system activities including receipt and put away of inbound product, printing and preparation of shipping documents, order picking and packing, shipment confirmations, internal warehouse move transactions, and operation of carrier shipping systems.. systems transactions will be performed in oracle ebs as well as carrier online shipping platforms.
essential duties & responsibilities
print and prepare picking and packing lists, commercial invoices, shipper’s letter of instruction and bills of lading and provide to warehouse servicers or supervisor.
perform shipment confirmations of outbound shipments.
receive product into system inventory and perform warehouse moves and inventory reconciliation transactions.
use appropriate carrier systems and tools to generate shipping labels.
face product and rearrange product on aisles as needed to fit all product in inventory locations
stack, corner, shrink-wrap and band product for shipments as needed
record and sign for shipments, unload trucks and compare information from bill of lading against the actual shipment to verify completeness
manage warehouse aisle inventory while pulling orders to optimize the space
maintain department cleanliness and provide exceptional customer service in all interactions
knowledge, skills & qualifications
ability to read, write, and speak english
current forklift certification is preferred; stand-up forklift preferred
proficiency in oracle, word, excel, and outlook preferred
education and experience
high school diploma or ged equivalent
minimum 2 years warehouse clerical or materials handling experience
must be able to lift 30 lbs.
