we have a fantastic opportunity to work on a day shift, monday to friday at a family run business in telford. due to continued growth, our client is looking to expand their team with a permanent member of staff. you will be working with a small team, covering a full warehouse role, from goods-in, stock control and despatch. the company has overt-time available on evenings and occasionally on weekends, this is paid at a premium rate.
the warehouse operative will be responsible for:
working as a team to meet customer orders
managing goods-in
unloading stock from deliveries
driving forklift counterbalance
performing stock checks and stock counts
picking customers orders from picking lists
packaging orders ready for despatch
loading shipments onto vehicles
skills and experience required:
must have previous warehouse experience
must hold a forklift counterbalance license
good communicator and team player
able to work quickly and efficiently in busy periods
