the data analyst is responsible for auditing, analyzing and reconciling a specific process stream of data. the data analyst will identify opportunities for improvement in the processing of master data records and will collaborate with business partners to ensure accuracy of data flow throughout the system, as well as identify process improvement opportunities for a specific stream of data. the data analyst will also ensure the accuracy of site operations master data so as to prevent production disruptions, thereby increasing site productivity.
additional responsibilities:
- support mdm requests for plant extensions by completing new material setup at the manufacturing sites for mrp, routings, material assignment and creation of production versions
- maintain manufacturing data fields by updated correctly & timely when changes are necessary
- single point of contact for all sap/mes master data setup, change or support
- document root cause analysis for any production downtime related to missing or inconsistent master data
- review site operations data verification reports and manage issue resolution with mdm or other work-streams, and verifications, peer collaboration to identify standardizations, synergies & best practices to streamline site data management role & improve overall effectiveness, and regularly &/or as requested report the state of data quality and process adherence to management.
