requirements:
3-4 years’ hands on kitchen experience or effective combination of education and experience
culinary skills and techniques for preparing small and large quantities of food
experience working the hot line/grill section
experience working in the cold larder/salad bar section in professional catering or busy restaurant environment essential
strong understanding and compliance with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
ability to handle and prepare a variety of raw and cooked foods
willingness and knowledge to work with international ingredients
must be a motivated team player with good initiative and problem-solving abilities
ability to work well under pressure and take direction
ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
must be able to work flexible hours, days, evenings, and weekends
