Gardener - trainee or experienced - 4 days a week from september - united kingdom, abingdon, oxfordshire
we are looking for a new gardener to join our team of self employed gardeners from september. experience is not necessary, as long as you have enthusiasm to learn. you must be very reliable - even in the rain. you need to be able to make your own way to marcham. the days can be quite long, generally 7.30 - 16.00 or 8.00 - 17.00, and physically demanding so a reasonable level of personal fitness is required. the team currently includes both sexes with ages ranging from 20's to 60's.
we work in private gardens, mainly boars hill and the surrounding area. performing garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, hedgecutting and weeding, we do not generally get involved in hard landscaping.
hourly rate will depend on experience - £13 - £15 per hour
training given - over the last 25 years we have trained and set up at least 10 gardeners who are now running their own businesses.
