essential functions of the calibration coordinator
collect, report, and monitor calibration performance metrics and/or kpi’s.
complete calibrations with accurate and timely gdp documentation.
coordinate troubleshooting and repair of test equipment as required. monitor calibration schedule to ensure necessary itme equipment is properly calibrated in a timely manner.
investigation calibration results of itme assets found out of tolerance (oot) of its designated accuracy.
communicate technical knowledge with peers and colleagues in other departments.
ensure scheduling of outside sources in accordance with established calibration frequencies.
create/update calibration procedures within the quality document management system.
requirements
requires a high school diploma or ged; an associate’s degree and/or certifications are preferred.
requires the ability to be accurate and identify procedural inaccuracies and then make recommendations for improvements and effectively implement changes.
requires the ability to work independently, make effective decisions, and resolve technical issues.
must have excellent communications skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.
must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in teams to achieve results.
proficiency with microsoft office products such as word and excel, or equivalent software applications is preferred.
proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information
