Calibration coordinator - united states, port washington

essential functions of the calibration coordinator

  • collect, report, and monitor calibration performance metrics and/or kpi’s.
  • complete calibrations with accurate and timely gdp documentation.
  • coordinate troubleshooting and repair of test equipment as required. monitor calibration schedule to ensure necessary itme equipment is properly calibrated in a timely manner.
  • investigation calibration results of itme assets found out of tolerance (oot) of its designated accuracy.
  • communicate technical knowledge with peers and colleagues in other departments.
  • ensure scheduling of outside sources in accordance with established calibration frequencies.
  • create/update calibration procedures within the quality document management system.
  • requirements
  • requires a high school diploma or ged; an associate’s degree and/or certifications are preferred.
  • requires the ability to be accurate and identify procedural inaccuracies and then make recommendations for improvements and effectively implement changes.
  • requires the ability to work independently, make effective decisions, and resolve technical issues.
  • must have excellent communications skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.
  • must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in teams to achieve results.
  • proficiency with microsoft office products such as word and excel, or equivalent software applications is preferred.
  • proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information
