a positive, energetic and competent housekeeper /cook to look after employers beautiful part-time residence and be able to cook 'ottolenghi' type lunches and suppers and provide delicious dishes for shoots during the season over the weekends.
the ideal candidate will be personable with a sunny disposition and be experienced and hard working. happy with a role that can be very quiet during the week with some busy weekends with large family gatherings etc. must be a proficient cook able to cook for 6 to 8 people at short notice. usually cooking will involve a family supper for two 2 or 3 days a week max. all general cleaning duties required and help with some basic admin duties would be appreciated but not essential.
appreciative employer has other long term staff employed including gardeners and a part time cleaner to assist.
driver is essential with car provided on duty. role will be 5 days a week working most weekends, time off during week in lieu. up to 40 hours per week.
stunning 3 bed cottage provided as staff accommodation. partners welcome and pets considered (they must get on with employers 2 dogs!)
salary negotiable for the ideal candidate around £35k gross pa.
