type: fulltime (40 hours / week)length: 6 month contract; possible extension/conversionpay: $42-$45 hourlyshift/hours: mon-fri 8-5this is an onsite position in san jose, ca
responsibilities include:
negotiate and generate approved purchase ordersactively communicated and collaborate with internal and external partners on schedules, status, etc.regularly monitor systems, process tasks, and respond to order requests, outstanding deliveries, etc.resolve invoicing and or/or supplier payment issuesprovide independent, analytic, and strategic support to the organization
requirements:
strong understanding of procurement processesknowledge of and experience with an erp system such as oracleoccasionally lift 40poundsexperience with bos and change management processesstrong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to monitor multiple open items and drive to completionexcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to share data and information via microsoft office and other toolsability to exercise independent judgement to solve problems of moderate scope and complexityrequires bachelor's degree or 1 to 2 years related experience
