our client in telford is looking for a successful candidate lgv driver, you must hold a current valid lgv category 'c' driving license, digital tachograph driver card, and current driver cpc.you will be required todrive a refuse collection vehicle for the effective and efficient completion of daily waste collection and will be responsible for allocated vehicles.

the successful candidate needs to be physically fit and healthy as you will be walking 7-10 miles per day.you need to be a team player and have clear verbal communication skills and a 'can-do approach to help resolve any issues or problems.

duties

driving an lgv refuse collection vehicle

assisting loaders with collecting refuse collections

ensure that all routes between facilities are adhered to accurately

working in all-weather conditions

requirements

driving license digi card, cpc

no points on your license (preferable not essential)

physically fit and healthy (due to heavy lifting)

good communication skills

undertake a driving assessment with the client

lgv experience would be preferable however the client would be willing to give you a chance if you have any points or have only recently qualified as training will be provided.
