our client is looking for loaders to join their team collecting refuse and recycling from the residents of the area.

this position is excellent for the successful candidate wanting to begin in the refuse and recycling environment. you will be working as part of a team and will be working 7-10 miles a day; you need to be physically fit and happy with constant lifting. you will need to work overtime if further work needs completing.

you will be placed on induction and will be provided with full training.

duties

emptying bins or collecting bags from all premises.

assisting the driver when manoeuvring the vehicle when reversing and down narrow country roads.

making sure that all the roads are left clean and tidy following collections.

acting as an ambassador for veolia, ensuring that the client receives excellent service.

will be working up to 11 hours a day if there is any further work that needs completing.

requirements

previous experience within a similar operational role

customer-facing experience

happy to work outside in all weather conditions and do lots of walking

must have safety boots and a hi-vis
