self employed arrangement. seeking to pay up to £100 a day for a contract of services monday to saturday with over 3 hours non - working in the afternoons. option to work sundays, grossing up to £700 per week. lodging and meals provided.
client seeking a flexible and reliable live in housekeeper/carer assistant to work in the chiddingfold /haslemere surrey area. help maintain a ground floor apartment in a historical country house, with spacious views and landscape grounds. support principle owner in her personal care such as washing, dressing and getting ready for the day. prepare and cook for the elderly owner and occasionally assist when the family should visit. a driver’s license an advantage.
the ideal candidate will be responsible for all the daily aspects of the role, working at own initiative and having an eye for detail:
the duties also include: weekly on-line grocery shopping to receive and store in kitchen, preparing food for the owner with a main meal cooked at lunchtime only, light household maintenance, ensure bedrooms bathrooms and kitchen are kept clean and manage laundry.
helping the principal with personal care, dressing and undressing and some support with medication.
reliable and caring disposition, to support her fulfilling life. effective written & verbal communication skills • experience preferred but not essential.
free on-going training in care would be available - a tquk accredited carer diploma level 2 online training module to further career if requested.
household 1 adult resident full time -1 self-sufficient family member part of the time. valid uk driving licence in order to be insured on car kept at property.
all candidates to have a dbs check and full eligibility to live and work in the uk with self employment references.
the family based in chiddingfold, surrey, 4 minutes to village by car, nearest train station haslemere - 12 minutes by car, (nearest major town centre guildford - 25 minutes by car) is looking to hire preferably by mid september tying in applicants availability.
