responsibilities
manage procuring of materials, services, and equipment.
maintain a high degree of communication with key suppliers to build long term supplier/customer relationship.
assure timely performance of the requisition to po to receipt process.
ensure orders are correctly processed in accordance with local and enterprise procedures & sops.
contribute to development and improvement of processes
forecast future spend and potential cost breaks or additions.
support in the engagement and utilization of procurement tools including rfx’s, contracting and scorecards/reports/communications, etc.
education/experience
minimum of an associate’s degree in business, supply chain or materials procurement.
2 plus years of experience in procurement a plus.
ability to analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents is helpful.
ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients and in-house customers.
