adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an operations manager position.

pay: $88,000/annually

 

note:  this is an onsite role. no other options are available.

 

oversee a single warehouse distribution facility! direct hire with benefits: retirement plan, life insurance, disability insurance, accident insurance, and wellbeing program

 

responsibilities for this operations manager position include but are not limited to:   

 

responsible for developing business action plans that are aligned to hub strategy and targets.

ensures achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.

focuses on key metrics and is accountable for managing to annual goals for each metric as well as overall budget.

ensures continuous improvement projects are in place so that the highest level of operational performance can be met.

responsible for meeting customer requirements for otd, lead time, quality and safety.

partner with the sales/product management teams to provide customers with up-to-date information as well as assist in determining solutions for the customer’s needs.

creates and maintains a positive work environment through building effective, capable and high performing teams.

develops talent through active coaching and counseling.

prepares and reports out to vice president, operations distribution network on facility performance on a weekly and monthly basis.

develops and implements operations cadences within facilities to ensure accurate communication, project management and corrective action activities are taking place.

responsible for scheduling, staging and expediting of product.

resolving productivity problems and developing ways to minimize recurrence.

 

qualifications for this operations manager job:

 

bs in business or related field with 8 years progressive experience in the business-related functions and/or 5 years’ experience in operations/warehouse management

distribution experience is necessary

ability to communicate complex concepts via presentations for senior level audiences

change management experience

proven experience in developing teams

sound business acumen
