adecco is currently recruiting for janitor positions located in georgia, vt.  these are temp to hire positions!

 

available shifts:

2nd shift, monday – friday, 3 pm – 11 pm - $17.50 per hour

3rd shift, sunday – thursday, 11 pm – 7 am - $18.00 per hour

 

job description

janitors clean and maintain the plant's buildings and grounds in a sanitary, safe, and neat condition. all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current standard operating procedures (sops), good manufacturing practices (gmps), and work instructions.

 

duties include:

  • operates and maintains janitorial and grounds keeping equipment.  such as lawnmowers, snow removal equipment, scrubbers, sweepers, buffers
  • maintains assigned areas of responsibility that may include, but not limited to the grounds, main hallways and walkways, restrooms, breakrooms, qa laboratories, warehouse spaces, and offices
  • cleans assigned areas, windows, removes flies from light fixtures, removes trash, and other general housekeeping duties
  • performs other duties as assigned
  •  

    required experience

  • high school diploma or ged required
  • excellent attendance and acceptable work record
  •  

    preferred experience:

  • good organizational skills and communication skills
  • previous janitorial experience is preferred
  •  

    physical requirements in janitor position:

  • must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift 50 lbs. must be able to stand & walk for 90% of shift, as well as work in hot and cold temperatures
