Gcs, nevada pilb license 2956 is beginning contracts for security services for various clients in the las vegas area. gcs is a multi-faceted company offering varied services designed to match the needs of our clients. we believe that services should be delivered by qualified professionals who take a pride of ownership in their positions. we are currently seeking qualified candidates for security officer positions. current needs are for un-armed officers to cover various swing shifts and graveyard positions. officers working for gcs will be first offered new accounts positions based upon a seniority basis. candidates must meet the qualifications listed below in order to be considered. responding applicants will be emailed a formal job application, that can be returned online, or hand delivered at our office when scheduled for an interview. no one should report to our offices without an appointment.

qualifications/requirements:
be at least 19 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent, 21 for armed positions (when available) or mobile vehicle patrol assignments possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner must have a valid guard card or provisional letter, as required by the pilb.
as a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws for driving positions must have current state drivers license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), minimum level of insurance as required by company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
display exceptional customer service and communication skills have intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client specific sites ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently ability to provide high quality security services to protect people and property, while maintaining proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons attend and complete in-house security/safety training programs able to:
work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

monday-tuesday 10pm-6am

friday 12am-6am and friday 6pm-6am must have clean dmv report

monday-wednesday 6pm-6am and thursday 6pm-12am

wednesday 3pm-11pm

friday 8pm-5am

monday-friday 2pm-10pm must have a clean dmv report

wednesday-sunday 8pm-4am
