37.5 hours per week, monday to friday plus weekends

salary £12.82 per hour plus benefits

parkside is one of havering's leading care homes for the elderly. we've been providing high quality care since 1971. we offer bespoke short term respite and long term care, as well as day care.

we are looking for a cook/catering manager to prepare, nutritious, home-made food to their family of residents on a daily basis.

you will also manage our team of hospitality assistants. part of the role will be to arrange the weekly rotas as well as managing the kitchen and dining areas at the home, including all required paperwork.

hours

the role is on a 37.5 hour per week.

you will be required to work one weekend shift per week.

skills and experience required:

a minimum of 2 years’ experience of cooking for over 30 people is essential.
a catering diploma (city & guilds/btec), nvq 3 in practical cookery and health and safety and food hygiene certificates (minimum level 2).

you must be over 18 years of age to apply for this role and you must have undertaken (evidence to be provided) or be willing to have a full course of covid-19 vaccinations, unless medically exempt.
