Sterilization technician - united states, jacksonville (florida)
our hospital is building a free standing clinic aligned with our ocean view amazing large acute care hospital. we are seeking sterilization techs!
sterilization technician duties:
• cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments and lab equipment.
• inspecting equipment for damage and ensuring proper function.
• keeping accurate records of sterilization and supply inventory.
• packaging freshly sterilized instruments for use in surgery or other medical procedures
shift : this position has a great deal of flexibility, can do 8,10 or 12 hour shifts.
requirements:
must have a minimum of 6 months experience
a current sterilization process technician certification is required
pay - will be based on experience, up to $50/hr.!! ot available $$$
