hours/shifts: saturday mornings (ideally 9.00am-12.00/1.00pm) and a weekday morning during school holidays (times to be arranged)

summary

• we are looking for someone who can take our son out to soft play areas, parks etc and play with him.

• he is 7 years old, has autism and is non-verbal.

• he is very sweet but has a mind of his own.

• he likes jumping, running, climbing, swimming and horse riding.

• he loves a game of chase but he is very quick so you must be playful and fit and healthy to undertake the required duties.

• support also required with all aspects of toileting.

• the successful person must be patient and preferably have experience of working with children with autism or special needs.

• we would like him to go to different places and see/interact with other people so you must be a driver with your own car.

• mileage at 45p per mile will be paid while taking him out.

other requirements

• non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.

• must have a uk driving licence

• must have access to own vehicle

successful applicants will be entitled to holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
