as a reconciliation analyst at our client site, you will work as part of a team to achieve daily goals. primary responsibilities include performing reconciliation and accounting functions on assigned accounts at the intermediate level and performing daily monitoring and maintenance of account reconciliations.
essential duties & responsibilities:
§ perform daily reconciliation of assigned accounts
§ perform daily maintenance and monitoring of account reconciliations
§ work independently with the clearing department to resolve items in a timely manner
§ quickly identify account outages and aging items within an account
§ resolve basic non-standard reconciliation issues, as assigned by supervisor
minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:
§ high school diploma required. accounting or finance degrees and work experience preferred.
§ must have excellent excel skills including creating and maintaining macros.
capable of managing own time to meet deadlines set by manager.
§ 2 years accounting experience – advanced understanding of microsoft excel including creating and maintaining macros; working knowledge of microsoft access
