summary

• i am an active, nearly blind, and hearing-impaired adult male who

enjoys socialising and long walks with my guide dog at the park or

seaside.

• i enjoy taking part in sports eg, bowling , golf and blind tennis.

• i am looking for a personal assistant/communicator to support me with accessing my local area such as the theatre, barbers, supermarket, bank , hospital , restaurants and vet as i have difficulties with communicating with individuals in noisy environments.

other requirements

• must be comfortable with pets

• non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.

• must have a uk driving licence

• must have access to own vehicle

all applicants must be willing to undertake an enhanced disclosure & barring service check if required.

successful applicants will be entitled to holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

social:

• accompanying and assisting employer on shopping trips when required

• accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities

• accompanying employer to doctors/hospital appointments when required

• accompanying on trips out e.g. to the theatre, the vet

• accompanying to social meetings eg friends, family

previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
