adecco has partnered with an exciting new client to hire a supply chain manager to join their team in nashville, tn!
this position will be responsible for leading all supply chain operations including strategy and planning, materials management, inventory control, procurement, and production scheduling.
responsibilities include but are not limited to:
leading supply chain operations and activities for assigned business group, including managing all raw, wip, and finished goods inventory, planning, procurement, and production scheduling.
providing leadership and direction to a team of employees, training, mentoring, and overseeing individual and collective performance.
counseling leadership and department heads on supply and inventory as a part of the sales demand planning processes.
analyzing inventory and supply chain data to evaluate performance and resolve issues, execute audits and modifications when necessary.
maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and other business partners.
qualifications
bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or related field.
10+ years of related experience in supply chain operations, materials, inventory control, and scheduling
5+ years of experience leading and managing teams and projects.
must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
proficiency with erp systems (sap preferred)
apics certification preferred
