Electrical project engineer - united states, charleston (west virginia)

the electrical project engineer is an integral member of the central engineering group, with responsibility for major capital improvements across all areas of the plant as well as engineering, design, and drafting support for the maintenance and operations departments.

the electrical project engineer will provide:  

  • electrical support and supervision for assigned project and maintenance outages.
  • interface and coordination with multi-discipline team assigned to the project
  • mechanical review of designs and scopes for safety and to minimize installation costs.
  • periodic electrical guidance and support for plant maintenance and operations
  • support of engineering system maintenance, advancement and improvement initiatives
  •  ideally, candidates should have:

  • bachelor’s degree of electrical engineering
  • 3 years of industry experience preferred
  • experience and knowledge of typical rolling mill and support systems, casting technologies preferred.
  • willingness to learn project management, quality, and lean methodologies & techniques.
  •  relocation assistance is available.
